The Pacific Islands are often viewed as geographically remote, yet they occupy a central position in some of the most important global issues of the twenty-first century. Climate change, migration, development, food security, and geopolitical competition are all playing out across the region in significant ways.
 

Despite this importance, Pacific perspectives are frequently underrepresented in international discussions. Pasifika Times was created to help address this gap by providing a dedicated platform focused exclusively on Pacific affairs. By highlighting regional perspectives and evidence-based analysis, we hope to contribute to a broader understanding of the Pacific and its growing significance in global affairs.
